RK Auto is seeking a skilled Commercial Truck Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will work with a variety of truck systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, providing high-quality service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on commercial trucks.


• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and other truck systems.


• Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are effective and standards are met.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.


• Follow all safety protocols and company policies while working in the shop and on job sites.


• Collaborate with team members and management to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a commercial truck technician or mechanic.


• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and brake systems.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.


• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
