GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Communications & Marketing Specialist helps plan, develop and implement all of CRMC’s marketing and public communications and public relations activities, both external and internal to keep the public informed of current services, events and employee and/or organizational accomplishments in order to increase positive public awareness and develop an accurate, consistent image of CRMC.
JOB DUTIES:
ï· Create, implement and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations plan that will enhance CRMC’s image and position within the market and region based on organizational specific objectives
ï· Facilitate internal and external communications as well as ensure consistent image and position of the CRMC brand across all media platforms
ï· Coordinate the appearance of all organizational print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, presentations, letters, speeches, etc.
ï· Develops editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all CRMC publications and productions
ï· Film and edit CRMC video productions
ï· Manage and create content for all social media platforms
ï· Maintain positive relations with media, valued vendors and other strategic partners of the organization
ï· Negotiate advertising contracts with various media outlets to build brand awareness
ï· Maintain and update CRMC website
ï· Coordinate and direct the preparation for and participation by CRMC in community events such as health fairs, rodeos and county fairs, community activities, displays and exhibits
ï· Arranges for hospital tours when requested or directed
ï· Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Privacy and company policy
The Communications & Marketing Specialist assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
ï· Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions
ï· Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills in teaming with patients, medical staff and the public
ï· Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask

ï· Knowledge of community, councils, associations, and business partners
ï· Ability to think creatively to attract fresh and professional communication to a variety of audiences
ï· Photography and graphic imagery experience
ï· Knowledgeable of state and federal guidelines for healthcare communications
ï· Experience in all facets of media relations utilizing print, radio, television, social and other forums
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
ï· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or Graphic Design or 3-5 years’ Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, Graphic Design and/or equivalent experience, required
