Job Description
Salary: $47,604 annual ($3,967 per month)
Benefits: This is a full-time state position that provides a percentage of matching contributions to employees’ retirement plans, 11 holidays, and a minimum of 15 days of annual and sick leave per year. The state also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents
Basic Purpose: Searching for a talented professional to be responsible for researching, writing and editing various materials for media, and presenting information for a state agency. This position will serve as the resident authority on Digital/Social Media marketing, crafting the information strategy that will tell the story of the Oklahoma National Guards Youth Programs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in writing and editing, radio and/or television, public relations or serving as a public information officer.

Licenses/Certificates required: Valid Driver License.

Notes: Located at the Sooner Job Challenge Program in Oklahoma City, OK. Travel may be required at the expense of the employee to be reimbursed within 45 days of travel.
