Job Description - Community Access Specialist

NOW HIRING: COMMUNITY ACCESS SPECIALIST

Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Louisville, KY.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 2:00 PM- 7:00 PM (pick-up from Adult Day Training is flexible and can be adjusted)
Saturdays: Any availability is highly preferred but not required

About the Role:

As a Community Access DSP, you will support an individual in participating in community activities, building independence, and enjoying meaningful experiences. Ultimate goal is to build natural support relationships in the community. Responsibilities may include:

Pick-up from Adult Day Training (ADT)
Assisting with community outings and recreational activities
Providing companionship and encouragement
Supporting daily living goals while promoting independence
Ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment
Focused on building relationships in the community for natural supports.

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

Reliable, compassionate, and patient
Comfortable working independently in the community
Able to provide dependable transportation if required
Committed to helping individuals achieve their personal goals
