Community Courtesy Officer - 2nd Shift

$18.00 hour starting rate

Full-Time Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:00-11:30 pm (2nd shift), may include holidays and occasional weekends as needed

Weekly overtime paid 1 ½ hourly rate; double pay for working holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Interacts with and assists senior living residents, families, employees, vendors, and visitors in a courtesy role


• Conducts regular patrols inside/outside buildings and around the property


• Assists nursing staff and emergency responders with wellness checks, emergency calls, and fire alarms


• Conducts regular fire drills in skilled nursing facility


• Assists with badge system and door accesses


• Performs light preventive maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Active license as an Unarmed Security Guard/Officer in the State of Tennessee required


• At least one years’ experience in security preferred


• High level of interpersonal and customer service skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation


• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all customers
