Job Description - Community Liaison

Community Liaison - Hospice Sales

Location: Mesa, AZ (East Mesa Territory)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Role Overview

Seeking a motivated, compassionate sales professional to build strong relationships within the healthcare community and promote hospice services. This role focuses on expanding awareness, generating referrals, and supporting families in understanding end-of-life care options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, and healthcare partners
  • Conduct regular outreach visits to referral sources to grow awareness and trust
  • Drive referral growth and support census expansion goals
  • Educate healthcare professionals and families about hospice services and philosophy
  • Guide patients and families through initial hospice conversations with empathy and clarity
  • Strengthen provider networks and support community engagement efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare sales/marketing experience required
  • Hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to work with clinical and administrative healthcare staff
  • Prior clinical experience is a plus
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance required

Compensation & Benefits

  • $84,000–$96,000 base salary (depending on experience)
