Our client is a mission-driven hospice organization looking for a Community Liaison, also known as a Hospice Marketer or Sales Representative, to support growth in the Round Rock market. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused healthcare sales professional eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families. The position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative environment while serving as the face of the hospice program in the community. Responsibilities include promoting specialized end-of-life care services and building strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners.
Schedule
Monday–Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Conduct regular outreach activities to promote hospice services.
Increase awareness of hospice services in the community.
Position the hospice program as the provider of choice across the service area.
Support growth and census goals for the hospice program.
Drive consistent referral growth through intentional, high-touch visits.
Follow up regularly with key referral sources.
Lead initial conversations with patients and families about hospice care.
Clearly explain hospice services and care philosophy.
Support families during critical moments with empathy, respect, and clear communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Equivalent experience may be considered instead of a degree.
Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales and/or marketing experience required.
Hospice or palliative care marketing experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to develop, grow, and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with community agencies.
Skilled at working collaboratively with internal clinical and administrative teams.
Able to ensure a strong understanding of hospice services across stakeholders.
Prior clinical experience is a plus.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have current auto insurance.
Comfortable traveling regularly within the Round Rock area.
Compensation
Base salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 per year.
Compensation depends on experience and responsibilities.
Uncapped commission opportunity in addition to base salary.
Final compensation details discussed and confirmed during the interview process.
Compensation will be based on experience and overall fit for the role.
