Community Services Specialist

Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is looking for a Community Services Specialist to help individuals and families connect with resources and programs that support stability and self-sufficiency.

What You'll Do

• Meet with clients and assess their needs


• Help individuals and families complete applications and gather eligibility documents


• Connect people with community resources and support programs


• Answer phones, assist visitors, and provide great customer service


• Maintain accurate records and program information


• Support Utility Assistance and EZMO Transportation programs as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required


• Strong customer service and communication skills


• Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office


• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks


• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and situations


• Experience in customer service, human services, case management, or a related field is a plus
