Compliance & Credit Specialist

Mazak Corporation is looking for a Compliance and Credit Specialist to join the Finance team at our Florence, KY headquarters. This role is a dual hybrid role to lend support to the MCEF and Export Compliance teams. This role is a dual hybrid role to lend support to the MCEF and Export Compliance teams.
MCEF: responsible for reviewing credit information, approving machine orders and shipment releases, and supporting financing and funding activities. Internal and external customer service is integral to the role.
Export: responsible for lending support to compliance functions within the department. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who can independently manage multiple priorities, make sound compliance determinations and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

MCEF:
• Review payment terms and Dun & Bradstreet credit reports for region machine orders
• Verify information and approve shipment releases for machines
• Update information on the Finance Queue to track orders for department
• Assist with funding deals with lending partners by supplying invoices, and following up for delivery and acceptance certificates and insurance
• Attend meetings as required with team, lenders, sales or training
EXPORT:
• Process used-machine registrations and submit required check sheets.
• Review international purchase orders and sales orders for export requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm shipment readiness.
• Coordinate international shipments with internal teams, customers, freight forwarders, brokers, and carriers.
• Track international shipments and assist in documentation, customs, or transportation issues.
• Assist to maintain complete and accurate export compliance and shipment records.
• Support team on audits, reporting, regulatory research, and export compliance process improvements.

Education/Certification:
• Bachelor's Degree

Skills:
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
