We are looking for highly motivated compounding pharmacy technicians with a strong passion for providing excellent customer service to join our pharmacy team.  


 Job Description




  • Assist the pharmacist with preparing compounding solutions, capsules, ointments, creams, lozenges, lollipops, suppositories and others  




  • Prepare, label and package compounding medications for onward dispensing following quality assurance guidelines




  • Train and assist other pharmacy technicians as necessary




  • Maintain and clean compounding area on a daily basis




  • Ensure optimal chemical inventory




  • Ensure proper record keeping and conform to quality guidelines




 


Job Qualification




  • Be nice and have a strong work ethic




  • 2 years experience as a compounding pharmacy technician




  • Able to work independently under supervision




  • Good operating knowledge of most compounding tools/equipments




  • PTCB or relevant compounding certification




  • Have an active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license in good standing




  • Be a team player and quick learner ready to adapt to job needs
