Summary

As a Concrete Finisher you will be performing a variety of tasks under the direction of a foreman that will support the overall end goal of the project or task at hand. Concrete finishers at B&B Concrete will carry out tasks related to concrete placement, finishing, cutting, curing, forming based on the proper selection of materials, equipment and finishing sequence needed to deliver a product acceptable by B&B. Concrete finishers at B&B Concrete must be able to perform their role safely, productively, and efficiently.   

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand the task at hand


• Understand the finishing sequence 


• Concrete finishing


• Participate in placing of concrete


• Forming for concrete placement


• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace


• Operating hand and power tool


• Performing general finisher duties

Qualifications and Experience:

• Follow all safety policies and requirements.


• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year related experience. 


• Have a reliable method of getting to job sites daily and on time.


• Self motivated and and eager to learn. 


• Lift a minimum of 75 lbs.


• Perform labor on a construction site including on rough terrain and in inclement weather.


• Prior concrete experience preferred
