The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Manager to join our growing team in delivering exceptional service to our portfolio of condominium association clients. In this role, you will work collaboratively alongside our client services team, serving as the go-to expert for complex issues and escalated requests that require a higher level of expertise, judgment, and problem-solving. • Conduct on-site property inspections, meet vendors on location, and troubleshoot issues proactively
  • Own and continuously improve SOPs for core maintenance processes to drive a better client experience

Financial & Association Management

  • Prepare and present annual budgets for multiple properties to boards of directors
  • Produce monthly management reports, site inspection reports, and annual meeting materials
  • Lead associations' annual meetings and guide boards toward efficient, well-informed decisions
  • Ensure compliance with condominium association governing documents

Vendor & Client Relations

  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; facilitate competitive bidding as required
  • Onboard and manage a growing portfolio of condo association clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for boards; proactive, clear, and solutions-oriented

What We're Looking For (Required)

  • 5–7 years of experience in property management, community association management, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and present financials to boards or senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and competitive bidding processes
  • Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple properties and timelines simultaneously
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for budgeting and reporting; comfortable with Google Workspace and PowerPoint/Slides
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be on-call one week per month (rotating emergency phone schedule)
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Washington, DC

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, TOPS, or similar)
  • Industry certification (CMCA, AMS, or equivalent)
  • Spanish language proficiency
  • Personal experience as a homeowner in a condominium association
  • Familiarity with the DC-area condominium association legal and compliance landscape

What We Offer

  • Compensation
    • Base: $75,000-$85,000K, plus bonus
  • Healthcare benefits.
  • Hybrid schedule, with remote work currently offered on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Modern office space in Dupont Circle.
  • Opportunity to grow within a scaling, high-performance startup.
  • Meaningful impact in helping condominium associations protect and manage their most valuable assets.
