What You'll Do
The configuration management (CM) change administrator is responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of the facility CM change control processes across the Y-12 site. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensures compliance with DOE Standard 1073 and site CM policy and procedures
- Ensures the appropriate CM processes are applied to facilities and systems included in the Y-12 facility CM program
- Maintains the SAP CM database for the tracking of configuration change requests
- Supports system engineers and/or originators with the development, approval process, and closure of change requests and temporary modifications
- Performs quality reviews of change requests, temporary modifications, and equivalency evaluations
- Assists with the tracking of affected documents requiring updates (return to service reports/metrics)
- Will be engaged with continued development and deployment of CM Digital Transformation effort(s)

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline: No experience.
- Master’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline: No experience.
- Eight or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience requirements for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
- 2 years of relevant SAP, database management, data analysis, and report generation experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the CNS CM program, procedures, and practices (e.g., Use of System List, Master Equipment List (MEL), Grading Work Sheet, Change Request Package, etc.)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
