Position Purpose:


The Consignment Liaison supports the accuracy and completion of vehicle consignment records, auction documentation, and customer transactions. This position requires strong proofreading and editing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to review vehicle descriptions and documentation for accuracy and consistency. The Consignment Liaison also assists with buyer and seller fulfillment before, during, and after live auctions.



Key Areas of Responsibility:



  • Review and verify consignment documents for completeness, accuracy, proper formatting, and compliance with company requirements.

  • Proofread and edit vehicle descriptions for auction catalogs and online listings, ensuring accuracy, grammar, spelling, consistency, and professional presentation.

  • Review vehicle information and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies or missing information before publication.

  • Audit title documentation and coordinate necessary corrections.

  • Process customer follow-ups, confirmations, and required documentation.

  • Prepare and execute buyer documents and ensure required funds and applicable taxes are collected.

  • Process and mail titles for sold and no-sale vehicles.

  • Audit buyer and seller information to ensure auction files are complete and accurate.

  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of consignment records.

  • Communicate with consignors, buyers, shipping/transport companies, financial institutions, and internal departments in a professional and timely manner.

  • Meet established productivity, accuracy, and deadline expectations.

  • Assist the Consignment team during live auctions and perform additional duties as assigned.

Culture


Barrett-Jackson's culture is live and in-person. Team members are in the office 5 days per week, 8am to 5pm at the Scottsdale, AZ headquarters. During live events the company largely travels together to produce and ensure each event is a success. This requires weekend work and long hours.
