Construction Engineering Inspectors

FOXXSTEM is an engineering design, construction management, and program management firm based in Washington, DC. We work on transportation, water, and energy projects that directly impact our communities.

FOXXSTEM is hiring Construction Engineering Inspectors with roadway and/or utility experience for a wide range of construction projects. We are looking for minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related role but prefer more seasoned and experienced applicants.

The Inspector will perform but is not limited to the following:

• Conduct field inspections


• Work on various roadway and bridge projects within the region


• Oversight of contractor's quality control operations


• Quality Assurance sampling, testing and reporting


• Data input from Daily Inspection Reports in preferred client software


• Daily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnel

Preferred certifications:

• Asphalt, Soils & Aggregate, Concrete, OSHA, HMA, Erosion & Sediment Control.

Potential projects include:

• Roadway & Streetscape


• Bridge Rehabilitation


• Bridge Construction


• Green Infrastructure


• Citywide Paving


• Alley Restorations


• Water Pipe Replacements

Compensation:

Salary will be determined based on candidate's experience level, education, licensure and/or certifications.
