In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. The Lead Project Manager is responsible for leading high-visibility and complex programs, projects, and/or strategic process development and execution. A Lead Project Manager is also responsible for executing project management activities. Other responsibilities include representing program/project management functions for assigned activities to internal and external stakeholders. This role for construction estimating will support infrastructure and facilities projects through but not limited to reviewing cost estimates, leading the team to implement best practices for cost estimating, and performing quantitative risk analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, scheduling, and cost analysis with understanding of best practices for developing unit cost calculations, cost estimate relationships, and escalation models. Experience in Federal contracting practices, equipment installation in manufacturing facilities, scheduling, and managing design consultants is a plus.
