Job Description - Construction Estimator

CEA is looking for Multi-disciplined "Construction Company" Estimators to calculate quantity take-off needs utilizing historic benchmarking information and industry experience to develop complete cost estimate forecasting.

Client-Facing Responsibilities

  • Presenting budgets to owners and design teams

  • Leading cost strategy discussions

  • Supporting project pursuits and interviews

  • Influencing design decisions through real-time cost input






Technical Expectations

Core competencies include:

  • Conceptual estimating

  • Detailed estimating

  • Cost modeling

  • Trade scoping and bid leveling

  • Value engineering

  • Risk and contingency planning






Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidate would likely have:

  • 5+ years of commercial GC estimating experience

  • Experience pricing diverse commercial projects

  • Ability to lead budgets independently

  • Strong subcontractor relationships

  • Experience presenting directly to owners and architects

  • Interest in mentoring and building teams
