A more accurate title for this position might be “Prize Fighter.” Why? Round after round you need to keep fighting and keep your energy up to the end…more importantly, always get right back up when you get knocked down. And yes, you do always go to the final round. No lucky punches ending the fight early here. We have been fighting the good fight since 1988 in the DC Metro area. Our team can jump rope WHILE hitting the speed bag.

Due to amazing growth, we are adding to our estimating team. Successful candidates will be thick-skinned team players who are logical, honest, positive, and analytical. This position does not necessarily require a lengthy construction background. The nature of our industry is one that requires tech savvy, spatially aware people who enjoy picking apart details and reassembling them. Documenting everything with detailed notes, measurements, and photos that tell a story is critical. Communication with the insurance carriers, property owners, and your coworkers is 80% of the job. Communication breakdowns in our processes = disaster. Manage your schedule, manage your communication, and get your work done with no excuses and 100% self accountability.

Our industry is one that requires professionals who persevere and treat each situation as an emergency. This is due to the fact that our clients, insurance carriers, hold us to very high standards via seemingly unattainable standards. Salary is very competitive with potential performance-based bonus/commission. All technology and training needed to perform your job will be provided. Depending on your exact needs once established, a company vehicle may be provided, as well. Health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc., are available.
