Construction Field Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Field Manager to join our dynamic construction team. This full-time position requires a hardworking and dedicated professional who will oversee all on-site construction activities, with particular emphasis on superstructure construction phases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise in structural construction, and an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery excellence.

As a Construction Field Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all field operations, coordinating between subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and clients. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Oversee daily construction operations and field activities, ensuring all work progresses according to project schedules and specifications


• Manage and coordinate all superstructure construction activities, including concrete placement, steel erection, formwork installation, and structural framing


• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical path activities and implementing corrective actions when delays occur


• Conduct daily site meetings with subcontractors, foremen, and project stakeholders to review progress, address concerns, and coordinate upcoming activities


• Monitor project budgets and costs, tracking labor, materials, and equipment expenses to ensure financial objectives are met


• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material samples related to structural components

Quality Control & Assurance

• Implement and enforce comprehensive quality control procedures throughout all construction phases


• Conduct regular inspections of superstructure work, including concrete pours, steel connections, and structural installations


• Ensure all construction activities comply with architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and building codes


• Document quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with subcontractors and trade partners


• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control measures
