Construction Foreman

C & H Construction has over 20 years of experience in serving the Omaha area with concrete solutions and customer excellence. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Concrete Foreman to join our growing team. As a Concrete Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing concrete projects, managing a team of workers, providing accurate project estimates, and prioritizing safety as the topmost concern.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a small crew of concrete workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.


• Oversee the planning and execution of concrete finishing projects, including formwork, pouring, and finishing.


• Communicate effectively with owners, subcontractors, and other decision-makers on and off the jobsite.


• Utilize your in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in concrete finishing to ensure high-quality workmanship.


• Manage and motivate a team of concrete workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment and provide guidance and training to crew members to enhance their concrete finishing skills.


• Assess project requirements and provide accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment costs.


• Conduct safety meetings, ensuring all crew members are well-trained on safety protocols and practices and enforce and uphold the highest safety standards on job sites.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in concrete finishing and proven experience in leading and managing a small crew.


2. Strong understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and processes and ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings.


3. Proficient in providing accurate project estimates and managing project budgets.


4. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.


5. Valid US Driver’s license and must be insurable.
