Construction Foreman-North Carolina 

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to support and lead on-site operations in coordination with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can help drive the day-to-day field execution, manage crews, and keep work progressing safely, efficiently, and on schedule.  This person should be a self-starter who takes ownership of their scope while working as part of a larger project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to execute the overall project plan.


• Provide daily on-site leadership and direction to field crews and subcontractors.


• Coordinate and oversee assigned phases of construction from start through closeout.


• Support the project schedule by managing workflow, sequencing, and manpower in the field.


• Communicate regularly with the Superintendent and Project Manager on progress, challenges, and solutions.


• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure accurate execution.


• Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays or rework.


• Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations.


• Conduct daily huddles and maintain clear communication across all trades.


• Monitor quality of work and ensure it meets company and client expectations.


• Track materials, equipment, and deliveries to support uninterrupted workflow.


• Maintain organized and professional jobsite conditions.


• Perform hands-on carpentry, finish work, and punch list tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with prior foreman or lead experience required.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and hold accountability.


• Proven ability to keep projects on schedule and adapt to changing conditions.


• Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and best practices.


• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
