Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Location: Los Angeles, CA — This is primarily an in-office opportunity designed for attorneys who value collaboration, mentorship, and learning alongside experienced legal professionals. One remote day per week may be considered after training and demonstrated success in the role.

Note: Active California Bar admission in good standing and at least 1+ year of litigation experience are required. We are specifically seeking an attorney who wants to work in an office, collaborate with other attorneys, and continue developing their litigation skills.

Job Description

  • Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution, with increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in court hearings, depositions, negotiations, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other case stakeholders.
  • Analyze contracts, evidence, discovery materials, and other documents to identify key legal and factual issues.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy, legal analysis, and preparation for important case events.
  • Track court deadlines, filing requirements, and case milestones to keep matters moving efficiently.
  • Develop practical legal strategies involving construction, prevailing wage, business, and real estate disputes.
  • Build strong client relationships while delivering responsive, thoughtful, and high-quality legal work.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • 1+ year of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities with attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and a client-service mindset.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in an office environment and learning from experienced attorneys.
  • Experience with Westlaw, LexisNexis, or comparable legal research platforms is preferred.
  • Construction, real estate, business, or prevailing wage litigation experience is a plus.

  • 1+ to 2 years: $120K-$130K

  • 6+ years: $145K-$160K
