Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location

Remote opportunity based in the Austin, Texas area. Candidates must reside within approximately 75 miles of Austin and be available to attend hearings, mediations, depositions, motions, and trials in person as needed.

Note

Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have strong litigation experience. Construction litigation experience is required, and candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of litigation practice with trial experience strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Manage construction litigation matters from client intake through final resolution.
  • Serve as the primary legal advisor and point of contact throughout each case.
  • Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, motions, and trials.
  • Represent clients in construction, commercial, and real estate disputes.
  • Develop litigation strategy and negotiate favorable resolutions.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and participate in weekly virtual team meetings.
  • Work closely with dedicated paralegal, administrative, and billing professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
  • Optionally develop your own client base for additional earning potential.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience.
  • Construction litigation experience required.
  • Trial experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience handling commercial and/or real estate litigation preferred.
  • Strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Excellent client communication and case management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage an independent caseload.
