Construction Project Engineer

Location: Honolulu, HI

Our client, a well-established civil engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support construction projects throughout Hawaii. This role involves coordinating with contractors, owners, consultants, and regulatory agencies to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Support construction administration and project coordination


• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation


• Coordinate with contractors, clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies


• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress


• Attend project meetings and perform site visits as needed


• Assist with project closeout and documentation


• Occasional travel to neighbor islands may be required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field


• 1–5+ years of construction or civil engineering experience


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities


• Must currently reside in Hawaii. Only local candidates will be considered.


• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
