Are you an experienced construction safety professional looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact?
We're seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across our paving, grading, milling, soil stabilization, and pavement maintenance operations throughout the Kansas City metro area. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to work closely with field crews and leadership while helping drive a strong safety culture across the organization.

Responsibilities
Lead all company safety initiatives across active construction projects
Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits
Ensure OSHA compliance and promote industry best practices
Develop, maintain, and improve safety policies and procedures
Deliver new-hire orientations, safety training, and toolbox talks
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
Track and report safety performance metrics
Partner with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to identify and mitigate risk
Assist with workers' compensation and return-to-work programs
Promote a proactive, accountable safety culture throughout the organization

Distribution and logistics facilities
Recreational trails, tracks, and courts
Required Qualifications
5+ years of construction safety experience
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
Experience conducting field safety inspections and audits
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to influence and build relationships with field personnel
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in asphalt paving, roadway construction, heavy civil, grading, excavation, or site development
OSHA 500, CHST, ASP, CSP, or related certifications
DOT compliance experience
Experience overseeing safety on multiple active jobsites
