About the Role 

The Safety Manager will lead and continuously improve the company-wide safety program, ensuring compliance with MIOSHA, OSHA, and applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture. 

Key Responsibilities 

• 
  

  Lead safety program development and continuous improvement 

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct jobsite inspections and audits 

  
  


• 
  

  Partner with field teams to promote safe practices 

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain safety documentation and SDS/MSDS 

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee PPE and fall protection systems 

  
  


• 
  

  Develop site-specific safety and emergency plans 

  
  


• 
  

  Support estimating and bidding with safety requirements 

  
  


• 
  

  Lead JSAs and toolbox talks 

  
  


• 
  

  Identify and mitigate hazards 

  
  


• 
  

  Track certifications and compliance 

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate safety training initiatives 

  
  

Qualifications 

• 
  

  Experience in construction safety or related field 

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of MIOSHA and OSHA 

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with safety programs and audits 

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication skills 

  
  


• 
  

  Company will support certification attainment (OSHA, HAZWOPER, etc.) 

  
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  Outdoor work in varying weather

  Walking and standing on uneven terrain

  Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
