Illinois State Credit Union serves roughly 18,000 members across five branches in central Illinois. We are member-owned, which means every decision we make answers to the people who bank with us instead of outside shareholders. Our lending team exists to say yes when we can and to give members a real path forward when we cannot.
The Consumer Loan Officer owns the consumer loan application from the moment it arrives to the moment it funds. You will take applications from our branches, the phone, and from online submissions. You will make credit decisions within your assigned lending authority, structure loans that fit the member, and keep approved loans moving so they close on time.
We want someone who can look at a file that does not fit the box, find the structure that works, and explain the reasoning to the member. When the answer has to be no, we want to leave the member with a plan for getting to yes.
