Below are a few of the outstanding benefits we offer: \n\n\n * Health benefits and vacation time - available to use on day one of your employment! \n\n * Paid holidays - up to 12! \n\n * Weekly pay \n\n * Shift premiums - $2.50/hr for off shifts \u0026 Opportunities for overtime. \n\n * Career progression opportunities to cross-train in different departments and increase compensation. \n\n * Retirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more!\n\n\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nPRIMARY FUNCTION:\n\nThis position will be reporting to the CI department, and it is responsible for supporting the Plant in achieving business and financial goals by assisting in ECIS (Lean) activities, leading the 5S+ and the \u201cNew idea\u201d \u0026 \u201cFind It, Fix It\u201d programs, performing time studies and small projects across the organization. \n\n \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: \n\n * Performs ECIS and improvement activities, as requested by CI members to drive improvements such as (but not limited to):\n * Manages the 5S+ program, supports actions \u0026 audits.\n * Develops and deploys Visual Management tools such as Tiers and Hour by Hour board and inventory control signals, among others.\n * Participates in Tier 1 and Tier 2 daily meetings.\n * Develops standards and provides training for CI tools usage.\n * Performs time studies and data analysis.\n * Updates work instructions and visual documents, as needed.\n * Being hands on, on the floor, and ability to use measuring/power tools to assemble things.\n * Manages the \u201cNew IDEAS\u201d and \u201cFind it, Fixed it\u201d programs and supports actions completion.\n * Supports activities from CI events (Kaizen) \u0026 initiatives.\n * Performs small projects and problem-solving activities.\n * Supports other activities as requested and needed.\n\n\n\n## Dimensions:\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\u2022 High school diploma \n\u2022 Minimum of 2 years working in Manufacturing environment. \n\u2022 Zero attendance issues past 15 months \n\u2022 Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship. \n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Associate Degree from an accredited institution is desired. \n\u2022 In process Bachelor\u2019s Degree in engineering from an accredited institution is preferred. \n\u2022 Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques \u2013 i.e. time studies, 5S, Work instructions, visual controls, etc. \n\u2022 Exposure to problem solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, control charts, Pareto charts, etc. \n\u2022 Proficiency in various software applications \u2013 i.e. SAP, MS Office suite, PBI. \n\u2022 Knowledge of industry and customer specific quality processes (i.e., ISO9001, etc). \n\u2022 Understanding of production environments (low-volume/high mix and high volume/low mix) including safety/guarding requirements.\n\n## Additional Information:\n\n * Experience in key processes that would be useful\n * Assembly experience\n * Welding\n * Fabrication processes: laser cutting and forming\n * E-Coat Paint Process \n\n\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
