As a Contracts Administrator \u2013 Level 2 or 3, located in Redondo Beach, CA, you\u2019ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal). This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\n\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\n\nOur Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities to provide and ensure proper contract execution and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer requirements. You will be an embedded member of the program management team, supporting program success and new growth opportunities.\n\nIn this job, you will:\n\n * Monitor contract and associated program(s) to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood\n * Participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications\n * Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes and maintain historical information\n * Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies.\n * Enter and maintain contract data into Contract Management System or Enterprise Accounting System\n * Other duties as assigned\n\n\n\nIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!\n\nThis position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal) .\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Level 2: Bachelor\u2019s degree with 2+ years of professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree\n * Level 3: Bachelor\u2019s degree with 5+ years of professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 3+ years of professional experience\n * No clearance required to start\n * Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree\n * Knowledge of contracts regulations or contracts administration\n * Experience working with MS Office Suite and Adobe\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Contract administration or contract management experience in Defense or Aerospace industry \n * Experience managing cost-type or firm fixed price (FFP) procurement contract types, experience with Other Transactions is a plus \n * Experience with federal government contracting requirements; FAR/DFAR interpretations \n * Ability to obtain and maintain an U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI access \n\n\n\nSoft Skills:\n\n * Can meet high performance expectations in a dynamic work environment\n * Have excellent communication skills\n * Are comfortable being directly involved in customer negotiations\n * Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Total Rewards\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
