Control Panel Wiring Technician

CDR General Solutions is seeking a Control Panel Wiring Technician to join our team near Dallas, TX 75220. The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated individual with strong work ethics, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Location: Dallas, TX 75220
Pay Rate: $22 to $30 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly, wiring and testing of various LV control panels based on wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and specifications.
• Fabrication of UL-508A Industrial Control Panels
• Understanding of electrical circuits to include PLC’s, Ethernet networking, instrumentation, and controls.
• Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
• Utilize engineering documentation (bill of materials, panel layouts) and electrical schematics to ensure compliant and fully functioning panel/control.
• Read basic wiring diagram and install low voltage wiring in control panel based on diagram.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
• Communicate any documentation inaccuracies to the Project Manager and/or Shop Supervisor.
• Able to read and interpret shop drawings, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings.
• Involves wiring, crimping, and working with wire harnesses.
• Maintain red-line mark-ups of changes made during fabrication.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time.
• Prepare completed control panels for shipment.
• Communicate effectively with all team members.
   

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Must have 1+ years of electrical control panel wiring experience.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics.
• Must be able to work without supervision.
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must able to perform the physical duties of the job without any restrictions.
