Cook - Food Services Department

Grand Villa of Delray Beach is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time cook to join our food services team. We are committed to providing high-quality dining experiences for our residents, and we are looking for a professional who shares our passion for excellent food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents’ preferences

- Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in compliance with health and safety regulations

- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to maintain quality standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in preparing and cooking fine quality food, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions accurately

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
