The Piper Assisted Living and Memory Care was designed and developed by Action Pact, a Manhattan, KS-based senior services company. Action Pact is an organization that values its associates, supporting their professional growth and development. The Piper Assisted Living and Memory Support is seeking a full time Cook with health benefits to contribute to building a strong foundational team for our new community. The Piper is a Household Model community, with 3 Memory Support households and 3 Assisted Living households. Each household is made up of 20 apartments, as well as community living, dining and kitchen areas. 

The cook facilitates each household’s abilities to promote The Piper’s signature “Dining Your Way,” along with the nutritional wellbeing of all residents. The cook will provide quality food along with customer service to the six household kitchens. The cook is responsible for daily production need in completing menu and recipe requirements. Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets. The Cook works cooperatively and respectfully with residents, coworkers, families, visitors and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment in the home. 

*Culinary Degree preferred but not required

*High school graudate or equivalent education is preferred.

*Minimum one year food service experience 

*General knowledge of quantity food production preparation
