Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences

- Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in compliance with health regulations

- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to meet nutritional standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas

- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and efficient food service

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare, assisted living, or senior care setting

- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures

- Ability to prepare a variety of nutritious meals with attention to presentation

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus
