Pantry Chef / Pizza Cook

Tonto Verde Country Club – Rio Verde, AZ

Tonto Verde Country Club is seeking a dependable and motivated Pantry Chef / Pizza Cook to join our culinary team.

This position will work primarily on our pantry and pizza stations, preparing salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, and other menu items while maintaining our standards for quality, consistency, cleanliness, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute pantry and pizza menu items
• Complete daily prep and maintain proper station pars
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and plating specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, labeling, rotation, and storage procedures
• Communicate effectively with chefs and other kitchen team members
• Assist with additional prep and stations when needed
• Maintain consistency and quality throughout service

Qualifications

• Previous professional kitchen experience preferred
• Pantry, pizza, or line cook experience is a plus
• Basic knife skills and cooking knowledge
• Ability to follow recipes and direction
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and team-oriented
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
