Overview:

Responsibilities
This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Assisted with food preparation in a fine-dining establishment using a variety of kitchen tools and equipment.


• Inspected and sanitized food preparation areas to ensure safe and hygienic food handling practices.


• Maintained ingredient freshness by evaluating quality, monitoring perishable items, and properly rotating inventory.


• Ensured proper storage and cooking temperatures for all food products using ovens, broilers, grills, and rotisseries.


• Monitored food quality and readiness using methods such as tasting, smelling, and testing with appropriate utensils.


• Portioned, plated, and garnished dishes according to established standards and presentation guidelines.


• Transferred prepared dishes to the service staff for timely delivery to guests.


• Supported the kitchen team with additional food preparation and service-related duties as assigned
  

Requirements

• Must have at least three (6) months of prior full-time experience as a cook in a food service establishment (excluding delicatessens, fast food, or cafeterias).


• Must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.


• Must be able to stand and walk without sitting for extended periods.


• Must be available to work split shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.


• Experience must be verifiable.


• Bilingual; must have advanced English skills (C1)


• Be a Honduran citizen within Honduran territory during the hiring process.


• Over 21 years old.


• Valid Passport (for at least 12 months before its expiration)


• Not holding an overextended stay with a tourist visa.


• Not having an illegal immigration record in the US.


• No criminal record and must present certificate proof (Constancia de Antecedentes Penales).
