Pay: $16.00–$19.00 per hour

The Woods at Cedar Run is looking for a passionate and dependable Full-Time Cook to join our Dining Team!

This is a great opportunity for an experienced cook, culinary graduate, or someone looking to build their skills in senior living. You'll prepare nutritious and delicious meals while helping create a positive dining experience for our residents.

Schedule

• Full-Time


• 6:00 AM–2:00 PM


• 11:00 AM–7:00 PM


• Every other weekend required


• Every other holiday required

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established menus and recipes


• Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared according to residents' dietary needs


• Serve as a leader in the kitchen during meal service


• Help coordinate kitchen operations and ensure all tasks are completed


• Guide and support waitstaff and dishwashers as needed


• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen


• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards


• Interact with residents and respond professionally to questions or concerns


• Help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents

What We're Looking For

• Previous cooking experience preferred


• Culinary education or training is a plus


• Passion for cooking and providing quality meals


• Comfortable taking the lead in a kitchen environment


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment


• Enjoys interacting with seniors and providing excellent customer service
