Wage range: $20 to $27/hour - Depending on experience.

Location:  Judson Park, Des Moines, WA

Full time- Must be available Saturdays and Sundays

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated cook to join our culinary team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and sanitation standards.

Position Details

• Full-Time Position


• Weekend availability required


• Early morning and breakfast experience strongly preferred


• High-volume production environment


• Fast-paced kitchen setting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards


• Execute breakfast, lunch, and dinner service as assigned


• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control


• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines


• Work efficiently during busy service periods


• Assist with prep, production, and station organization


• Maintain a clean and organized work area


• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

• Previous professional cooking experience required


• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or institutional food service preferred


• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices


• Experience preparing meals for special dietary needs is a plus


• Experience with textured diets (minced, ground, chopped, and pureed foods) is highly desirable


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong organizational and time-management skills


• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
