Cooker Mechanic

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cooker Mechanic role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect and diagnose mechanical devices to identify issues and dismantle and repair or replace defective parts.
· Examine parts for imperfections and wear to ensure proper functionality.
· Adjust functional components and control instruments for optimal performance.
· Install special functional and structural parts in machinery.
· Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
· Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
· Collaborate with team members to support safe and efficient plant operations.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical certification is a plus.
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
· Ability to climb, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
· Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and schematics.
· Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and mathematical applications in mechanical work.
· Proficiency in work order processing systems and maintenance software.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
· Willingness to work extended schedules, weekends, and any assigned shift during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November).
