Cooks Needed ASAP

National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility Management Company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Cooks for our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be part of a team, creating high-end products served daily.
• Work at a fast pace to meet production timelines.
• Prepare and cook meals in large quantities following standardized recipes and client specifications.
• Ensure food presentation, portioning, and packaging meet client and company guidelines.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and quality control teams.
• Follow production schedules to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Schedule:

• Monday – Sunday (2 days off / Weekly schedule will be provided by supervisor)
• 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Hourly Pay:

• $20.35/hr.
• BIWEEKLY PAY

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish Speaker)
• Previous experience as a cook.
• Slip Resistant shoes are required for safety.
• Have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be able to start working as soon as possible.
