POSITION: Coordinator Operations



FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full Time

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Operations Coordinator will coordinate cross functionally with internal & external stakeholders to ensure that orders execute on time, as scheduled. Coordinators will have responsibility for or support inbound and/or outbound logistics within the React Health supply chain. Regarding transportation, they will make decisions as needed to optimize mode (LTL/FTL/Partial/etc.) to improve both service and cost. For warehousing, they will streamline communication between internal team members, service providers and warehouse [3PL] staff, support operational KPIs, and work to resolve any disputes that may arise due to errors, including coordination with onsite personnel to verify cycle count adjustment and inventory reconciliation.



QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business or equivalent experience

  • At least 1 year experience in Supply Chain – transportation, logistics or operations

  • Familiarity with industries where React Health operates




Preferred Education


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain


 

Preferred Experience


  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills required.

  • Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.




Physical Demands


  • Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.  

  • Typically, employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives. 

  • Required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard. 

  • Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business.




Working Conditions


  • Predominantly operates in an office environment. Some work (less than 5%) requires moving and lifting of heavy networking equipment.




DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Each Employee consistently demonstrates the following essential functions:


  • Support inventory reconciliation between ERP and WMS systems, performing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of inventory balances, transactions, and movements

  • Coordinate with onsite personnel to verify and explain inventory adjustments

  • Work cross-functionally to overcome barriers and identify resources required to achieve financial goals.

  • Responsible for outbound logistics or warehouse fulfillment activities within a multi-million-dollar supply chain.

  • Responsible for implementing and measuring new supply chain initiatives, while maintaining foundational processes and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of relevant carrier modes and warehousing operations

  • Manage tactical and strategic procurement events to execute shipments through the supply chain

  • Support preparation for ad hoc and contractual carrier negotiations

  • Maintain key strategic relationships with transportation providers and warehousing partners

  • Monitor key performance indicators for improvement and control purposes

  • Identify cost saving opportunities and drive execution of initiatives with management team

  • Primary supply chain point of contact for customer advocate reps, sales, and transportation vendors

  • Ability to accept rapidly changing priorities, shift focus to accomplish a tactical goal, then return to strategic priorities without losing productivity

  • Maintain and update existing supply chain SOPs; create new SOPs as needed

  • Collaborate with both carriers and customers (internal and external) to drive overall supply chain efficiencies

  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings.

  • Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.

  • Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.

  • Attends all meetings, in-services training, or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor.

  • Provides customer focused interactions.

  • Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.
