The Coordinator Studios Operations and Housing supports the Manager of Carnival Studios with the day-to-day operations of the 45,000 sq ft rehearsal facility and 24-unit leased housing accommodations. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth functioning of both the rehearsal spaces and the living quarters provided for team members ensuring the premises are kept in excellent condition for its tenants. Responsibilities include assisting the Housing Associate with the arrivals and departures of team members, including handling administrative tasks associated with these processes. The role also supports event coordination and inventory management.
Responsibilities
Program, Operations & Innovation:
Operations: Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of building operation and preventative maintenance of the Carnival Studios facility. Schedule and oversee regular maintenance for both the rehearsal facility and the housing accommodations to ensure they are in optimal condition for occupancy. Coordinate building deliveries, team member mail and shipments.
Accommodations: Support the Carnival Studios Associate to help maintain shipboard team member's housing for the duration of their stay. Verify Team Member documents upon arrival. The role requires meeting Team Members at irregular hours depending on arrival times. Responsible for helping assemble and transporting furniture and apartment supplies.
Event Planning: Assist with setting up building functions and celebrations such as Studio Star, Department meetings, daily rehearsals, and interdepartmental functions.
Facilities: Support the Associate with ordering and delivery of facility and apartment supplies as required. Receive and manage weekly deliveries from Centergate, ensuring that all items are accounted for and distributed appropriately.

Environment: Participate in team meetings, projects and brainstorming sessions to encourage collaboration and idea sharing. Foster a positive team environment by recognizing individual contributions and promoting a culture of mutual respect and support.

Compliance Adherence: Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures, emphasizing safety protocols and operational standards as outlined by Global HESS (Health, Environment, Safety, and Security) and ADA guidelines.
Program Evaluation
Data Analysis: Leverage data to accurately determine usage guidelines for giveaways and supplies.
Reporting: Submit reports to showcase changes and improvements in processes, orders, deliveries, and timelines.
Program Effectiveness: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and partnerships; make recommendations for enhancements.
Feedback Collection: Collect feedback from various outlets to continuously improve guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Knowledge & Skills
Essential/Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Education, Hospitality & Tourism, Entertainment Management, Sports and Recreation, Business and/or Administrative Support or equivalent to 2 years experience in a similar role
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
Organization: Skilled in setting priorities and maintaining well-organized tasks and projects. Project Management: Proficient in project management principles and capable of multitasking.
Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

Essential Experience Required:
Previous onboard cruise ship experience, a plus.
Clean driving record
Provide proof of valid car insurance
Must have their own form of transportation
Travel Required: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
