Copy of Tractor/Trailer Mechanic

We Perform PM & Maintenance on a US Fortune 50 Transportation Equipment - Year-Round Service in Professional Environment.

 Opening for (2) Fleet Mechanic $42-$48 DOE (NOT Flat Rate) + Health, Vision and Dental, Holiday/Vacation and NO Customer Interactions.

Flexible Hours: Mornings, Afternoon or Evening Shift

Excellent Shop Environment - NO Roadside Service 

• Repairs and services Semi-Trucks and Trailers
• Troubleshoots issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs.
• Maintains a clean and safe repair shop.
• Tracks inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains repair log for vehicles and equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 4+ years working on OTR Tractor/Trailers
• Excellent mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to follow repair guidelines

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS:

• High school diploma or GED with one to three years of related technical experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training required.
• ASE Certification(s) (preferred; but not required)
