Are you a strategic sales leader who knows how to turn complex customer relationships into sustainable, profitable growth?

Clemens Food Group is looking for a Corporate Account Executive – Foodservice Distribution to lead enterprise relationships and commercial strategy for key broadline distributor customers. You’ll own relationships at the customer headquarters level while bringing together field sales and cross-functional teams to turn strategy into results across markets and customer segments.

This is an opportunity to influence how we grow our fresh and value-added portfolios while building meaningful partnerships with some of the foodservice industry's most important customers.

What You’ll Do

• Own account strategy and business performance across volume, margin, mix, distribution, and profitable growth.


• Develop multi-year account strategies and annual joint business plans with clear priorities, measures, and accountability.


• Build trusted relationships with customer executives and teams across procurement, merchandising, category management, marketing, culinary, finance, operations, supply chain, and sales.


• Lead strategic pricing, contract, program, incentive, and commercial-term negotiations.


• Create distributor sell-in and sell-through strategies that expand product authorization, local penetration, and end-user adoption.


• Mobilize internal partners across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Insights, Culinary, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Legal.


• Turn customer, consumer, operator, category, and competitive insights into growth opportunities and compelling customer solutions.


• Lead business reviews and proactively address risks, opportunities, service issues, and performance gaps.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of progressive foodservice sales or strategic account management experience, including large, complex distributor or national account relationships.


• Demonstrated success developing account strategies and joint business plans that drive measurable, profitable growth.


• Strong knowledge of the foodservice value chain, broadline distribution economics, and segment dynamics.


• Proven experience negotiating complex pricing, contracts, programs, and commercial terms.


• Strong financial and analytical acumen across sales, margin, mix, distribution, forecasting, and customer investment.


• Executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.


• Experience leading through influence in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.


• Proficiency with CRM and business-analysis tools.


• Ability to travel as required.

A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, food science, agriculture, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Experience with major U.S. broadline distributors, innovation or private-label commercialization, and protein or another operationally complex food category is also preferred.
