Corporate Accountant

Role overview:

Nursa Inc. is currently seeking to hire a Corporate Accountant to work with the corporate team in Murray Utah. A Corporate Accountant is primarily responsible for tracking expenses, reporting on expense metrics, maintaining accounts receivable, and processing payments. The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for Nursa’s accounting for the Procure to Pay Cycle. The Corporate Accountant is expected to have knowledge of industry and company best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, expense reporting, and in Netsuite ERP.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with vendors (generally via email, and occasionally by phone) regarding invoices

• Maintain A/P processes, supporting optimization of cash flow from operations

• Perform day-to-day accounting to support month end close

• Assist in the analysis and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

• Assist in financial statement account analysis

• Assist in monitoring expenditures to safeguard Nursa Assets

• Follow and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Provide expense reporting other relevant reporting to department leadership including providing updates on plans, goals, and progress to improving expense reporting

Qualifications:

• 2-4+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required, Master’s degree in business, finance or accounting is a plus

• Ability to engage cross-functionally with business leadership

• Ability to analyze corporate accounting needs

• Excellent proficiency with Excel

• Understanding and application of GAAP

• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and project management skills

• Ability to manage and implement accounting systems and improve process efficiency

• Experience with NetSuite preferred
