Job Description - Corporate Associate Attorney - Denver, CO

Stinson LLP is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate with three to five years of experience to join our growing Corporate Finance Division in our Denver office.


Qualifications Required: Active attorney license in Colorado or applicable jurisdiction required. Qualified candidates will have three to five years of relevant experience (as described below), possess excellent academic credentials, and have strong writing, analytical, organizational, leadership and communication skills.


Experience leading, managing, or substantially contributing to mergers and acquisitions, or private equity investment / leveraged buyout transactions, and/or capital markets transactions is required.  Additional experience with respect to corporate governance matters, venture capital investment transactions, private offerings of equity and/or debt securities, and/or providing advice with respect to Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K filings and proxy statements is preferred, but not required.  Candidates should be prepared to work collaboratively on teams serving sophisticated, national clients on dynamic and fast-paced transactions.

Our associate compensation structure has two components: (1) a base salary (based on an 1850 billable hour target) and (2) a discretionary merit bonus based on performance. The base salary range for this role is $200,000 – $215,000. The salary range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. The range is provided as an initial approximation at the time of posting and may vary based on the individual’s unique qualifications and experience.
