Corporate Audit Associate

CORPORATE AUDIT ASSOCIATE (Permanent)
Our client, a growing company in the South towns of WNY, is looking to hire a Corporate Audit Associate to join their team.  This position reports to the Director of Internal Audit.

Responsibilities:

• Work with corporate and divisional management to assess the effectiveness of internal controls
  


• Provide valuable insight on process & control improvements
  


• Evaluate SOX and operational controls for effectiveness and compliance with corporate and divisional policies
  


• Prepare audit workpapers and testing programs that clearly document the execution of the annual internal audit plan
  


• Assist on special projects as needed
  


• Work well under deadlines, adapt quickly, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  


• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

• Position is full time, direct hire
  


• Standard 40 hours/week with some overtime required during peak times
  


• Hybrid: 3 days/week in office is ideal
  


• $65,000 - $80,000 annually depending on experience
  


• Bachelor’s Degree required
  


• 1-3 years accounting experience required; public accounting with manufacturing experience preferred
  


• Some travel required (6-7 weeks/year)
  


• Excellent accounting and math skills
  


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  


• Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  


• Strong organization skills and time management skills
  


• Ability to work well in a team environment
  


• Strong attention to detail
  


• Self-motivated
