About the Role / Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support the General Counsel and legal department with a primary focus on legal operations, contract review and administration, legal documentation, and other administrative support. This role will assist with the drafting, review, tracking, and management of vendor contracts, manager agreements, confidentiality agreements, investment documents, and other contracts, as well as provide administrative and operational support to ensure efficient legal department workflows.

 

The ideal candidate is proactive, meticulous, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced in-house legal environment.

What You’ll Do / Position Responsibilities

 

Contract Management & Legal Support


  • Assist with the preparation, review, and administration of contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements, and other commercial contracts.

  • Maintain and manage the contract lifecycle, including intake, drafting support, routing for approval, execution, and renewal tracking.

  • Maintain and organize the company’s contract repository and document management system.

  • Track key contractual obligations, renewal dates, and compliance requirements.

  • Assist the General Counsel in reviewing agreements for completeness and consistency with company standards.

  • Prepare contract summaries, redlines, and supporting documentation.


Legal Documentation & Corporate Support


  • Draft and format basic legal documents, templates, processes, and correspondence.

  • Maintain corporate records and legal files.

  • Assist with preparation of board materials, secretary certificates, entity formation, corporate governance documents, and regulatory filings as needed.


Legal Operations & Administrative Support


  • Manage legal department workflows, and document tracking.

  • Coordinate execution of agreements using electronic signature platforms.

  • Serve as a liaison between legal and internal departments regarding contract status and documentation.

  • Assist with outside counsel coordination, invoices, and legal spend tracking.

  • Support legal research and internal requests as needed.


 

What We Require / Minimum Qualifications


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Paralegal certificate recommended.

  • 3–7 years of paralegal experience, preferably in an in-house legal department or corporate law firm practice.

  • Experience supporting a variety of contracts and term review and tracking.


 

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience supporting a General Counsel or small in-house legal team.

  • Familiarity with corporate governance.

  • Experience working with contract templates, and multiple processes.

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and e-signature tools is a plus.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Engage collaboratively with clients, investment teams and peers.

  • Prioritize effectively and decisively across complex teams and competing priorities.

  • Enjoy working in and learning about the financial investment industry.
