A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Transactions Associate to join its highly regarded Atlanta office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on sophisticated mergers & acquisitions, private equity, strategic transactions, and general corporate matters within one of the nation's premier corporate practices.

The Role

• Mergers & acquisitions transactions
• Private equity acquisitions and investments
• Strategic corporate transactions
• Corporate governance and business counseling
• Transaction structuring and due diligence
• Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents
• Direct client interaction and substantive deal responsibility
• Collaboration with a nationally recognized corporate team

Ideal Background

• Approximately 3–4 years of corporate transactional experience
• Significant experience with M&A transactions required
• Experience representing private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, sellers, or portfolio companies is a plus
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills involving acquisition agreements and transaction documents
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted in Georgia

Compensation

Expected compensation ranges from approximately $260,000 – $390,000+ depending on class year, experience, and overall qualifications.
