Country Club Food Runner

We are currently seeking to hire part-time food runners to join our a la carte dining team!

At Fox Chapel Golf Club, we’re passionate about creating world-class dining experiences for our members and their guests. Our renowned Food & Beverage program is an integral piece of the Fox Chapel Golf Club experience, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join our team. You will have the opportunity to exceed member expectations at one of America’s Elite Distinguished Clubs. 

Under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director and Dining Room Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day food & beverage operations. 

Experience:

• Some experience is preferred, but we are willing to train individuals who are willing to learn 

Salary Range:

• $12.00-$15.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

• 6 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts
• Daytime shifts, Evening shifts, Weekend availability, Holidays

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation
• Excellent time-management, organization and communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high service standard for our members and their guests

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest level of service to members and their guests
• Assist the food expeditor whenever needed
• Set-up expo station with appropriate condiments, rolls, soups, cookies, garnishes, take-out containers, etc...
• Carry trays of food to the appropriate dining room and informing server or bartender
• Work clean with high focus on allergens to prevent cross-contamination
• Build take-out orders with precise accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized area
• Maintain great communication between FOH & BOH staff members
• Assist the kitchen and a la carte dining staff when and wherever necessary
