Summary

This position may have access to medications and/or specimens for purposes of distributing.

Job Description

Transports multiple items that may include any of the following: medical records, lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical supplies, x-rays, correspondence, freight, and miscellaneous items to ensure efficient flow of information and materials throughout various locations as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be 21 years of age to meet auto insurance requirements.

Work schedule is as needed and when necessary with varying shifts. There are no guaranteed hours and is not a qualifying position for benefits. This position is to help cover routes in case someone calls in sick or if they are on PTO.

Must be able to follow both structured and flexible delivery schedule. Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Driver history must comply with Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability.

Current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
